Calaboose Grille, located in the Historic Tioga County Jail is not only the most unique restaurants in the area; it is also one of the very best. Owners Karlyn & Clark Hepworth, have created a delicious and decidedly different menu fusing their diverse culinary backgrounds from more than thirty years in the restaurant business. All their food is freshly prepared with many ingredients from local sources, and Chef Clark has a true gift for creating signature dishes that are intriquing and mouth watering, as well as putting delightful twists on classic comfort foods. While the menu is moderately priced, the service is friendly and warm and worthy of any white tablecloth establishment. Being in the former County Jail makes for a fun atmosphere and is surprisingly inviting and comfortable. For al fresco dining the restaurant has a large patio over-looking the Court House Square Park and a genuine European style beer garden. Calaboose Grille serves lunch and dinner Monday-Saturday and offers a full bar.
